Manchester United beat City
United did not have to finish the season empty-handed. Ten Hague's side were crowned champions after defeating city rivals Manchester City in the FA Cup final. The last time they won a trophy was in the 2022–23 season, when the Red Devils beat Newcastle in the final of the Seva Carabao Cup.

City are the league winning team. They have won the league title four times in a row. Dominated the Champions League as well, although they were knocked out in the quarter-finals against Real Madrid. On the other hand, United could not secure the Champions League ticket. No success in other competitions either. All in all, most people thought that City would win the FA Cup. Two 19-year-old youths proved their ideas wrong.

Garnacho put the team ahead in the 30th minute at Wembley Stadium. They hit the net for the second time after 9 minutes. Portuguese midfielder Bruno Fernandez played a role in Minor's goal. The team went into the break with a 2-0 lead.

Before or after the break, Guardiola's City were in constant pursuit of goals. They were failing again and again with ball possession control and more shots. Belgian Docu broke the deadlock in the 87th minute. But they could not score any more goals in the rest of the period. Through this, Rodri's unbeaten streak of 74 matches was interrupted.
It is United's 13th FA Cup title. Arsenal have more trophies than them in this competition (14).
