Liverpool crushed by Atalanta

 Liverpool lost 3-0 to Atalanta in the first leg of the Europa League quarter-finals. The Allreds are unbeaten at home in over a year. As a result of this loss, Jurgen Klopp's team tasted defeat at home after 14 months.

  Liverpool hosted Atalanta at Anfield on Thursday night (April 11). Klopp prepared the XI without most of the footballers from the regular XI. Due to which Liverpool was ineffective from the beginning of the match. On the other hand, Atalanta continued to attack one after another. Atalanta took the lead in the 38th minute of the match.   Atalanta's Mario Pasalic put the final nail in Liverpool's coffin seven minutes before the final whistle. Atalanta returned home with a big victory of 3-0 goals. The two teams will meet in the second leg on April 19 in Atalanta. Klopp's team will have to do something incredible in that match to go to the semis.
