Novak Djokovic beats Rafael Nadal
The fight between the two stars of the tennis world is not very intense. Novak Djokovic wins men's singles in Paris Olympics against Rafael Nadal.
Nadal withdrew from the second round after losing 6-1, 6-4 to the Serbian star on Monday (July 29).
Tennis fans thronged Center Court at the French Open to watch the Nadal - Djokovic clash. There was also the expectation of a head-to-head battle between two of the world's best players to play for the country. But Nadal could not fulfill the expectations. Djokovic on the other hand was in familiar form. Tried to keep the opponent under pressure from the beginning of the match with power tennis. Strong service, backhand, forehand, and fast court coverage left Nadal behind. Nadal was far behind in all categories of tennis. Djokovic beat Nadal 6-1 in the first set in 39 minutes.

Nadal could not stop Djokovic even though he was somewhat excited by that. Despite playing relatively well in the second set, he lost 4-6. In the second set, the two superstars fought for 1 hour and 4 minutes. But all in all, Nadal - Djokovic match was not full of one-sided fight.
For the time being, Nadal's farewell bell rang in men's singles. His mission now is to bring gold to the country in the dual competition. On the other hand, Djokovic kept himself on the way to winning the gold by stepping into the third round.
