The Netherlands survived with a late goal

Netherlands narrowly beat Poland in their first match in the Wiro Cup. Playing without Lewandowski, the best star of the team, Poland took the lead with a great fight, but conceded a goal at the last moment and left the field with a loss.

The Netherlands beat Poland 2-1 at the Volksparkstadion in Germany in a Group D match at the Euro Championship on Sunday (June 16). Cody Gakpo and Wet Oghorst scored twice for the Dutch.

On this day, who played aggressively from the beginning of the match, scored a goal in the 16th minute and fell behind. Adam Buksa scored a great header from Zielenski's cross from the corner. Desperate for a goal, the Dutch equalized in the 29th minute when Gakpo's long-range shot deflected off the feet of a Polish defender and into the net.   The two teams went into the break with a 1-1 tie.

After the break, the Dutch gave the gift of football. Wet Oghorst scored the winning goal for the Dutch in the 83rd minute. The forward, who came on as a substitute, latched onto the ball from Nathan Aker's pass. The Netherlands left the field with a victory based on his goals.
