Mbappe's nose surgery, could be knocked out of the Euro 2024

Mbappe's nose surgery, could be knocked out of the Euro 2024

Kylian Mbappe suffered a nose injury in the first match of the Euros against Austria on Monday night. Bloody nose and mouth. The injury is so serious that it is doubtful whether he will be able to play any more matches in this year's Euro.

At the end of the 85th minute, Mbappe's nose broke in a collision with Austrian defender Danso.

Blood soaked his face and jersey. The game stops for a while. Coach Didier Deschamps wanted to remove Mbappe. But he continued to play even after the injury.

In the end, Mbappe left the stadium in an ambulance at 90 minutes.

A French journalist said Mbappe's nose was broken. He is in the hospital. Further surgery may be done on the nose.

France coach Deschamps said, "I still don't know about Mbappe's physical condition. But the injury is not too small. It is not possible for me to say now how Mbappe is doing. Doctors are watching. But not in very good condition.

Very bad nose. This is not good news for us. The situation is critical.”

"Anyone have any idea about the mask?" France captain Mbappe wrote in a social media post early Tuesday morning.

Then the speculation started. It seems that Mbappe will play with a mask in the next matches. However, the French coach could not say for sure whether he will be able to play at all.
