Euro starts today Germany and Scotland will meet in the opening match
(June 14) The European Football Championship (Euro), Europe's premier and most prestigious event in continental football, begins in Germany. Germany and Scotland will meet in the opening match. The match will be played at the Football Arena Munich in Munich, Germany. The match will start at 1 pm Bangladesh time.
24 teams are participating in the 17th edition of the tournament. The tournament will continue till July 14 at 10 venues in Germany. In this year's Euro, 24 countries have been divided into six groups. There are four countries in each group.
After hosting the World Cup in 2006, Germany is going to host a major tournament.

'B' - Spain, Croatia, Italy, Albania
'C' - England, Slovenia, Denmark, Serbia
'D' - Poland, Netherlands, Austria, France
'E' - Belgium, Slovakia, Romania, Ukraine
'F' - Türkiye, Georgia, Portugal, Czech Republic
