Brazil prepares for the Copa with a draw against the United States
Brazil did not win the last warm-up match before the Copa America. The Selecao drew in a friendly match with the United States. The match in Florida ended in a 1-1 draw. Christian Pulisic equalized for the United States after Rodrigo put Brazil ahead.
From the beginning of this day, the first row players like Vinicius Junior, Rodrigo, Rafinha were in the eleven of Brazil. Fortunately, Darival Junior's team got results quickly. Rodrigo took the lead in the 17th minute. Brazil's number ten Rodrigo made a perfect finish as Rafinier stepped up.
The US, however, quickly got back into the match. It takes only 9 minutes. The hosts get a free kick on top of Brazil's box. Christian Pulisic put the ball into the net with a great right-footed free kick.
In the second half, both teams were looking for goals, but Payami scored the winning goal. Endrik, the hero of Brazil's previous match, was substituted in the 65th minute and could not win the Seleção. Earlier, Brazil beat Mexico 3-2 in the warm-up match last Sunday.
Copa America will start on June 20. Before that, these two teams have no other matches.
Nine-time champion Brazil will start this season with a match against Costa Rica on June 25.
